My story

I think it all started because of being homefoodsick, experiencing a lack of fresh, sourdough bread made me – a Polish girl - get up from the comfy sofa in 2021 to try to make my first sourdough bread and that.....is it!

The next morning is still very vivid in my memory: the taste, the smell, the texture of the freshly baked homemade sourdough bread changed my life and since then I could not stop.

I started to test my sourdough bread in the village, with the locals. They loved it and ask for more. The owner of one of the hotels here loved the bread so much she asked me to bake it for them too on a regular basis.

I have since got my professional baking license and have intermittently started selling my bread and other baked goods for the village and at local markets.

In 2025 I decided to quit my day job so that I could start baking, not intermittently, but now full time.

Having passion is one thing but sharing this with other people is another level of happiness and satisfaction and if the passion is food then what a great result!

My values

Putting the ‘Eat’ into East

made locally to serve those who love freshly baked goods

Hand Made with love

– made by a someone who discovered this passion and wants to share it with you; my mixer is making my day much easier but still a lot of work with the dough is done by hand;

Sustainable

– paper packaging, limited plastic usage during production, no waste during production and no waste with final products – production for individual orders but even on markets I am usually sold out but if not I am giving away for free or freezing at home;

Quality over quantity

– production is limited because extra care is taken for each individual creation

Healthy work environment

– even the smallest of investments in equipment makes my life easier so my process is still a work in progress but I am getting there;
